Our Story
A Sound Between Two Cities
[Replace with your real origin story.] Café España began as a conversation between two musical homes — Minneapolis, MN and Albuquerque, NM — and the idea that flamenco's fire, jazz's freedom, and Latin music's rhythm could speak as one language.
Every performance blends deep-rooted cante and compás with the harmonic risk-taking of jazz and the pulse of Latin dance rhythms, creating a sound that is equal parts tradition and improvisation.
The Sound
Flamenco. Jazz. Latin Soul.
Rooted in Spanish flamenco tradition, shaped by jazz harmony and improvisation, and driven by the rhythms of Latin music — Café España's sound draws from generations of musical heritage.
